Still find yourself hoping to make some corners, getting nervous in tight switchbacks or feeling lucky, not skilled after that technical section? Or maybe felt frustrated because you are riding, cornering/descending/climbing slower than other riders? I know how you feel, I tried harder and read all the info I could but was barely getting better year after year (even after my first six seasons as a pro!).

Have you been so nervous that you rode sections of trail slower than others? Or even walked sections that other riders were riding? The same fears were holding me back.

I have designed our instruction and mountain bike skills coaching sessions to help you with both the mental and physical sides of mountain biking. My goal is to help you reach your potential by teaching you the core skills of mountain biking and the drills to master these skills. These are the non-intuitive skills that still eluded me after 15 years of riding and kept me from reaching my potential. Learning and becoming proficient at these skills will allow you to ride in balance and in control making you a more efficient and confident rider.

Starting in a safe learning environment we explain the skill, demonstrate the skill and have you practice the skill utilizing drills that you will continue to use long after the camp. Once you understand the skills we then apply them on the trail. I really enjoy helping others and would love to share these techniques and the drills for practicing, getting good at and eventually mastering these techniques with you. Mountain Bike Camps

Spend a three day weekend with us and we will help your learn the correct, in balance and in
control way to ride a bike. Your mental skills will improve too and you will leave with a much
greater understanding of how to mountain bike balanced, efficiently, fast and smooth with a set
of drills to help you master these skills. Please, do yourself a favor and end the frustration of
not riding up to your potential. For less than upgrading a wheelset you can upgrade your skills

BetterRide women’s only camps cover the same core skills as my co-ed camps but in supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere of an all-women’s course.
